DCC Preaching

Current Sunday Worship Service Preaching Series:

Welcome to a new year! For some 2024 is a year of possibilities. For others it is a year of challenges. Whatever your outlook is, whether looking forward to opportunities or tackling obstacles, one thing everyone can agree on is we’re in new territory. We’ve closed the books on the previous year, and what lies before us is undiscovered time. This isn’t always greeted as good news. New can be scary, even if it’s a different digit on the end of the date. Comfort and routine are challenged by new. Predictable is threatened by new. How do we make the most of this new year? Scripture suggests we be bold, courageous, and follow God’s Word. We’re charging into the new year examining the stories of those who literally walked into new towns, new relationships, and new experiences. What God taught them He can teach us. We’re never too young or old to embrace what God has next. Embrace the new by trusting the One whose Word never goes out of style.
