Meet DCC Pastor, Joshua Vie, and his family!
Joshua Vie serves as Senior Pastor and an elder at Dayton Christian Church. Josh and Sarah Vie came to DCC in November 2020 with their daughter, Zoey. The family was blessed to welcome a son, Joseph in November 2021. Josh has led churches as a pastor since 2005. Prior to vocational ministry, Josh grew up on the south coast of Oregon and spent time in church ministry in the Pacific Northwest and Southern California. He is a graduate of Hope International University and California Baptist University. Josh and Sarah met in 2015 and married in 2017. Sarah currently leads DCC’s children’s ministry and she serves as a High School Special Education teacher in Yamhill County. Josh and Sarah love spending time with their kids and exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Josh is an avid fan of sneakers, Lego, and sports. Sarah loves books and creative games.

We know church works better when we all serve together. We’re looking for passionate people who want to reach Dayton and Yamhill County for Christ! We are currently looking to fill a staff position for Children’s Ministry Intern. We also have volunteer positions on all ministry teams.
Our Children’s Ministry Internship is offered to local college students who are passionate about ministry, education, and serving in their local community. Please be sure to include the university you attend, your major, your current year in school, and an updated resume. We will reach out to you with an application and next steps.

Our current teams include Greeting, Communion Prep, Worship, Missions, Children’s Ministries, Student Ministries, Facilities/ Maintenance, Christian Education, DCC Women, Men’s Group, and Prayer Team. If you are passionate about serving God and see a need in the local community not met by one of our ministry teams, please let us know!
