At Dayton Christian Church we believe children need a place to be safe, have fun, and thrive as they grow and develop. That is why we pour all of our energy and creativity into designing a unique experience for them. Jesus said, “unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 18:3, NIV). At DCC children are not only a priority, but a reminder in the sight of God we are His children. Explore how we are working with kids to affect positive change in Dayton and Yamhill County.
DCC Nursery
Little ones need special care and attention while the family worships and fellowships. At DCC we have a special place for younglings to learn, grow, and be cared for in our nursery. Our nursery companions are vetted and receive special training so you can always rest easy leaving your little guy or girl in their care. We also use a special ticket system so pick up is safe and quick after service. DCC nursery care is available Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM.

DCC Pre-K
We offer an engaging program for children who are in Pre-school every Sunday at 10:30AM. As they start their journey discovering Jesus, they will have opportunities to play, sing, laugh, and learn. Our Pre-K team are some of the most energetic and patient people. We vet all who volunteer and are committed to providing an active, exciting, and safe place for your kids to grow in God.

DCC Elementary (K-3rd)
The last thing church should ever be is boring. The Kingdom of God is made for ones such as kids, and there is no way Heaven could be anything but exciting. Beginning Sunday, February 4th DCC Kids will offer an exciting ministry for children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. In order for your kids to participate they must be checked-in. Children in K-3rd will begin in our worship service with their families, or who they are attending with. During the worship music part of our service, prior to the message, K-3rd grade children will be invited to meet our DCC Kids teacher in the foyer. The DCC Kids teacher will wait five minutes after children have been invited to join the weekly ministry before guiding the group to the K-3rd room. Through games, crafts, group activities, and discussion, kids learn from the Bible.
